Wi-Fi Hotspots and Tablets

Ayer Library now offers Wi-Fi hotspots and tablets to residents of Ayer and students of ASRSD who have CWMARS library cards in good standing. Hotspots and tablets may be borrowed for 3 weeks with no renewals. Eligible patrons with special circumstances may request extended loan periods. 

WiFi hotspots allow you to connect to the Internet through a cellular phone network (TMobile), no matter where you happen to be. You can connect any WiFi-capable device, such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or even a television, to the hotspot to receive wireless service. 

Tablets are also available for borrowing. The tablets also connect to the internet through a cellular phone network and allow you to browse the web via an 8″ touch screen.  The tablets also serve as hotspots, too, allowing you to connect other WiFi-enabled devices to the internet.

Before borrowing a hotspot or tablet, you will need to sign a Borrowing Agreement.

Returns of Wi-Fi hotspots and tablets must be done in person at the Ayer Library. Wi-Fi hotspots and tablets may NOT be returned in our outdoor book drops or returned at another CWMARS library.
