Ayer Library

During these difficult times, we are here for you.

Look for the Ayer Library Facebook page, where you will find updates, fun things to try and videos from your librarians.

We are answering emails from home.

We are adding new electronic resources like eAudiobooks and eBooks.

We are researching other free platforms as they become available.

Please email us or call and leave a message at the library if you have any questions or concerns.

Welcome to the Youth Services Page!

The best page on this website if you ask us.

We are Amy, Christina, and Justine, your Youth Services Dreamteam!

Amy is the Head of Youth Services and has been here at the Ayer Library for 11 years and has a Master’s degree in Elementary Education. When she’s not at the library doing awesome librarian things like running our weekly Story Ninja class on Tuesdays at 4 or Storytime on Thursdays at 10:30, you can find her chasing after her two grown kids and big brown dog. Her favorite book series is Mercy Watson by Kate DiCamillo.

Christina is our Circulation and Outreach Librarian and has been here for 6 years. She has a background in Graphic Communications and has worked with and around children for over ten years. When Christina isn’t at the library planning programs or taking snapshots for Facebook and Instagram, you could find her watching too much Youtube and hanging out with her cats, or trying to figure out what her next tattoo is going to be. Her favorite book series is Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas.

Justine is our Circulation Librarian and has been here for 3 years. She has a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science and hails from the rolling hills of Wisconsin. She maintains our fabulous Makerspace and is the organized glue that holds Christina’s and Amy’s chaos together. When Justine isn’t at the library making sure all our books are where they need to be, you can find her arguing with her cat, Yule, over how he can best ‘help’ her with crochet projects. Her favorite book series is The Squires Tale by Gerald Morris.

We ALWAYS want to hear feedback on your experiences at the Ayer Library. Whether you liked or didn’t like a program, have a suggestion for a future event, book suggestions, questions about what we have planned for future programs, suggestions for our toy and game collections, whatever it is we want to make sure our space is doing everything it can for you.
