Interested in donating to the Ayer Library?

Email Library Director Luke Kirkland at lkirkland@cwmars.org to discuss options.

The Ayer Library is proud of the level of service we provide—it would not be possible without the support of generous donors and volunteers.

Friends of the Ayer Library

The Friends of the Ayer Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose purpose is to raise funds and public awareness in the community to support Library-defined programs and initiatives. Friends do this by collecting annual membership fees, conducting fundraising events, and operating the Book Cellar, a used book store on the Ground Floor of the Ayer Library. The Friends welcome any individual, family, organization or business interested in supporting the Ayer Library to become a member, volunteer with the Friends, or donate used books for resale in the Book Cellar. For more information, visit the Friends of the Ayer Library website.

James & Christine Wood Foundation

The Ayer Library is grateful for the support of the James and Christine Wood Fund, an endowment established to provide perpetual annual support for the Library’s programs and special projects. The endowment will be managed by the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts, a non-profit public charity that manages charitable funds established by individuals, families, businesses and other non-profit organizations.
