Follow the steps below to use Beanstack:

Step 1: Sign up for Summer Reading at Beanstack.

Step 2: Log your reading and activities.

Step 3: Earn badges and prizes!

Kids:

Our Kids Summer Reading Program lasts for 8 weeks and is full of fun activities, crafts, and challenges! Each week has a different focus that ties into our main theme, Tails and Tales. Some themes include Unusual Creatures, Wild Symphony, and Who Would Win. Each week kids are encouraged to read books of their choice, watch interesting videos, take silly quizzes, and make some really cool craft projects! All summer long kids who are registered for our Summer Reading Program can visit the library and get a prize each week for participating! All activity prompts, challenges, and reading logs are online on Beanstack. Crafts will be available in our Curbside Shed which is located near the Library’s main entrance.

Young Adults:

Our Young Adult (or YA) Summer Reading Program lasts for 8 weeks and is full of awesome challenges, craft projects, and activities. Each week has a different focus that ties into our main theme, Tails and Tales. YA participants are invited to explore the science of cute, different career opportunities working with animals, and live animal webcams, to name just a few of the fun things we have planned for you! Completed reading, activities, and challenges can be logged online using Beanstack. Every book or activity logged will earn a raffle ticket you can enter to win an Amazon gift card!

Adults:

Our Adult Summer Reading Program lasts for 9 weeks and offers participants different challenge and activity prompts including literary-inspired cocktail recipes, exploring traditional folklore stories from around the world, and wildlife conservation tips and tricks they can complete alongside their reading. Adults registered for our Summer Reading Program can earn raffle tickets for logging completed reading, challenges, and activities online using Beanstack.
