Ayer Library

Get a Library Card

You may obtain an Ayer Library card at Ayer Library. Please present a photo ID and a document than can be used as proof of your address (documents including but not limited to: mail that you have received at your current address, a bill, lease, or car registration with both your name and current address). If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must be present and sign for your new library card, and you do not need to present an ID.

If you do not have additional documentation with both your name and current address, you may ask a librarian to send a postcard to you; once you receive the postcard through the mail, you may then use the postcard as your proof of address and we will create a library card for you.

If you already have a library card within the CW MARS library network, your card will work at Ayer Library. For more information about CW MARS, click here.

Massachusetts residents may apply for a Boston Public Library eCard.
