The Ayer Library now offers Curbside Pickup!
Let us know what books, DVDs, CDs, or video games you’d like and we’ll check it out and pack it up for you to pick up – no physical contact required!
TO MAKE A REQUEST:
Library staff are in the building from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Tuesday through Friday to receive and fill requests.
- Call 978-772-8250
- Email us at email@example.com
- Fill out and submit this Curbside Request Form!
Please specify if you are looking for a book, DVD movie, large print book, CD audiobook, or music when you make your request.
PLEASE NOTE: Inter-library delivery is not available at this time, so only the items currently on the shelves in the Ayer Library building are available. Due to limited staffing and other factors, we are limiting requests to 10 items per card and 20 items per family at this time.
PLEASE DO NOT PLACE HOLDS IN THE CATALOG.
We will make every effort to get you the items you requested and we will contact you if an item you requested is not available. If you would like us to recommend a substitute for the unavailable item, please let us know. We would be happy to do so.
If you are looking for a substitute for a favorite title or author, or simply for something new to read, you can also try Novelist Plus or BookBrowse for read-alike titles, book reviews and recommendations.
TO PICK-UP YOUR REQUESTED ITEMS:
YOU WILL BE CONTACTED TO SCHEDULE AND CONFIRM YOUR PICK-UP TIME.
Items for pick-up will be placed on a table outside the Main Entrance to the Library. They will already be checked out and in clearly labeled bags.
ALL ITEMS ARE TO BE RETURNED TO THE OUTSIDE BOOK DROPS.
Book drops will be open during library hours. Tuesday – Friday 10am – 5pm.
There will be no fines at this time for late items. All items will be quarantined for 72 hours, and will only be checked in after that time has passed.
For your protection, the library staff will be wearing masks and gloves. All areas will be wiped down in between pick-ups.
If you have any questions or need a library card, please contact the Ayer Library at 978-772-8250 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
