 is an acronym for Dogs Building Opportunities for Nurturing and Emotional Support.
Our primary purpose is to provide well trained, affectionate, obedient, registered and insured therapy dog teams for visitation, where they may provide therapeutic contact .
Our mission is to bring a little fun into someone's day and simply enjoy life.

Topics include baseball, dolphins, aliens, rainforests, and dinosaurs, plus time travel, camels, caribou, soap, dreams, and of course, books and libraries! Very playful, with plenty of singing and dancing along!

Welcome to the Ayer Library Children's Room page!

Here you will find all of our upcoming events, a place for all your homework questions, and a list of summaries for some of our newest books. You will also find a tab just for parents, with helpful links and information about the library and our parenting book collections. 
The children's librarian is Ms. Amy, who has been here for the last 8 years and has story-time every Thursday morning at 10:30! She has a background in Elementary Education and worked at the Acton Discovery Museums for 15 years.

Meet Ms. Autumn, our newest librarian in the Youth Services department!  She will be here in the afternoons and on Saturdays! Come say hello, and introduce yourself.  She has been a high school teacher, camp counselor, and is an avid lover of books! 

The assistant children's librarian is Ms. Christina, who has been here for the last 3 years. She has a backgound in Graphic Communications and has worked with and around children for over 8 years.
